This unique event saw WA’s dynamic African Drum & Dance Groups joined by international artists Lamine Sonko and Sena Sonko from Senegal for high energy acoustic jammin’ African style featuring traditional West African drumming, Senegalese sabar and kora as well as funky Zimbabwean jit and reggae rhythms. Performers included members of African Drumming Groups AKWAABA, DUNUMBA and ZIGGY BEY JAN as well as dancers from AFROTONIC, ORGANIKDANCE and IMAGINE DANCE THEATRE.
