AFRICA SPECTACULAR DVD is the recorded 1hr30 of the African show organized by Veronique at Kulcha on 1st November as a tribute to Shonah Honeyhill Sonko. This unique event saw WA’s dynamic African Drum & Dance Groups joined by international artists Lamine Sonko and Sena Sonko from Senegal for high energy acoustic jammin’ African style featuring traditional West African drumming, Senegalese sabar and kora as well as funky Zimbabwean jit and reggae rhythms. Performers included members of African Drumming Groups AKWAABA, DUNUMBA and ZIGGY BEY JAN as well as dancers from AFROTONIC, ORGANIKDANCE and IMAGINE DANCE THEATRE.
